We prefer to offer 316 stainless steel over 304. What is the difference, you say?
Two of the most common grades of austenitic stainless steel
are 304 and 316.
In appearance the 2 are indistinguishable. The 2 grades though have
very unique characteristics due to their chemical composition.
316 contains a minimum 2.0% molybdenum which makes it much more corrosion resistant than 304.
316 is often referred to as marine grade and is suitable for use
in environments that are more aggressive.
Perfect for sitting under a vehicle in all weathers.
